1. Comedian Chris Rock will play two shows in Orlando in July, but after being slapped by actor Will Smith at Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony, demand for tickets for Chris Rock's show is soaring. Online ticket brokers said in social media posts that ticket interest surged overnight Sunday into Monday. (Orlando Patch)

2. Thousands of runners have arrived in Orlando at Walt Disney World for the inaugural runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend starting on Thursday morning at Magic Kingdom. Runners who signed up for the Springtime Surprise Challenge, can test their endurance by participating in all three events, a total of 19.3 miles. Some roads may be closed around the theme park during events this weekend. (Click Orlando)

3. Two employees at the Curaleaf medical marijuana dispensary in Mount Dora are accused of stealing pounds of product from the store over a matter of months. A tipster claimed the two employees would fill a machine and claim it was clogged so that they could empty it and keep the excess product. (WFTV)

4. A jury trail is set to begin next week against accused killer Anthony Todt. An error by the detectives who interrogated him has removed his confession from the upcoming trial as evidence. They failed to fully inform him of his Miranda rights before he confessed. (WESH)

5. Dr. Phillips Charities has chosen Hospitality HQ, headed by Chef Akhtar Nawab, to operate its upcoming 17,300 square foot Southern Box Food Hall in its anticipated Packing District development just west of College Park. The new food hall will be home to 11 vendors that will be curated by Hospitality HQ. (Bungalower)
