1. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis won reelection Tuesday in a race that is expected to contribute to his rise to national politics. The Associated Press called the race a few minutes after 8 p.m. in the evening. (Subscription: Tampa Bay Times, Free: CNN)

2. Several companies in Central Florida are taking advantage of government economic incentive programs to create a combined 508 new jobs. Participating companies include Home Lending Pal, Iron Galaxy Studios, and others. (Subscription: Orlando Business Journal)

3. The Santa Workshop Experience has opened for 2022 and turns Icon Park's district into a holiday-themed winter wonderland from now through Dec. 24. Children participating can ride the Carousel and Wheel for free at ICON Park and adults can enjoy 50 percent off. (Attractions Magazine)

4. Universal Orlando will kick off its holiday celebrations this Saturday, Nov. 12 through Jan. 1, 2023. The celebrations will include Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy's, and more. (Positively Osceola)

5. Orange County Library System will celebrate 100 years on Jan. 7, 2023. The celebration will be held at Orlando Public Library in downtown Orlando. Events will be held around the library system to mark the milestone throughout 2023. (Orlando Weekly)
