1. Florida on Sunday broke a previous record for current hospitalizations, as the number of patients in hospitals because of COVID-19 once again broke the 10,000-person record with 10,207 people hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 cases. (Click Orlando)

2. Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order telling parents they can make their own decisions on mask as cases rise. The executive order says the Florida State Board of Education can withhold funds from school districts that do not comply with the law. (WESH)

3. The owner of Red Eye Sports Tavern, the current home of Git-N-Messy's only location, hopes to open a second shop inside Henry's Depot soon. (Orlando Weekly)

4. Vincent Seay, an Orlando landlord for eight tenants at properties in Paramore and Richmond Heights said even if the moratorium expires, he will not evict his tenants. Seay said he has worked with his tenants throughout pandemic. (Spectrum News 13)

5. A nursing conference has been canceled at Orange County Convention Center as COVID-19 cases surge in Central Florida. (WFTV)
