1. The inaugural Epicurious Sip & Savor event is Friday, Dec. 9, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Waldorf Astoria and Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. The event will showcase the resort's 13 restaurants and lounges with 35 tastings at eight culinary stations and nine pop-up bars. Tastings include La Luce and Bull & Bear, as well as Peruvian Street Fare, Southern Smokehouse, Chef Franck Riffaud’s Grand Patisserie and Maître Cuisiniers de France. 2. Former Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg's attorney is lashing out at the U.S. Department of Justice over a lack of charges for other accused conspirators in his crimes. His lawyer said Greenberg is cooperating with state investigations that are focused on contracts and kickbacks during Greenberg’s time as tax collector, which could bring state charges for others. 3. Goff’s Drive In is closing its doors to its historic location and hopes to find a new location soon. During the period of segregation, the owners believe they were attacked over their believe of integration of Black and white customers. (Click Orlando)

4. Florida Highway Patrol is working to identify a man killed after being hit by a car on Tuesday night. The incident happened on Semoran Boulevard just south of Aloma Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. (Fox 35 Orlando)

5. Universal Orlando is moving its annual passholder lounge to Islands of Adventure in early 2023. The new lounge will be at the Toon Lagoon area of the theme park. More details are expected to be released soon. (Spectrum News 13)
