1. Volusia County sheriff's deputies arrested 30-year-old David Rivera late Wednesday and charged him with first-degree murder. His mother, 55-year-old Belgica Rivera, was found unresponsive in her home on Sunrise Blvd. at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and pronounced dead at the scene. (WESH)

2. 53-year-old "Stephen," Dennis Lee Line, a former Oviedo High School teacher, has been accused of attempting to meet with a minor for sex, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Line was a teacher at Oviedo High School from July 2001 to May 2018. (Click Orlando)

3. Big Bounce America, the world’s largest touring inflatable event, is coming to Kissimmee's Osceola Heritage Park at the end of February. Entrance to the grounds is free, but tickets must be purchased if a guest wants to use the attractions. (Orlando Weekly)

4. Lake County has recorded the most COVID-19 fatalities per capita in the Orlando metro area. The per capita coronavirus death rate in Lake County is 402 for every 100,000 people. Lake County ranks among the middle 50% of all U.S. counties or county equivalents by COVID-19 death rate per capita. (24/7 Wall St. Orlando)

5. Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) is hosting an exhibit of works created by Jean-Michel Basquiat titled, Heroes and Monsters, and it is now open. It features a rare group of 25 paintings from a private collection that are being shown for the first time. The exhibit will run through June 30th, 2023. (Bungalower)
