1. Miracle's holiday pop-up bars are coming to Orlando with The Courtesy in Orlando. New cocktails this year include Santa's Little Helper, Christmas Cricket, Holiday Spiked Chai, and more. (Subscription: Orlando Sentinel, Free: Orlando Weekly)

2. Disney recently accepted Orlando-based Red 6 into its startup accelerator program in Burbank, California. Red 6 relocated to Florida last year from Santa Monica, California and will eventually head to Miami. Disney hopes to use the program to experiment and build relationships with innovators. 3. Orlando Health is asking the public for help identifying a patient at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Officials said the man arrived at the hospital around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from a downtown parking garage area near Robinson Street and is in his late 20s to mid-30s and has a light brown to olive skin tone, according to a release. 4. Officials at Orlando International Airport are warning of travelers and congestion coming Thanksgiving. They estimate 165,100 people will travel through the airport on Nov. 26, but traffic to increase from now through Nov. 29. (WESH)

5. Disney Cruise Line has acquired the largest ship in its fleet from a bankrupt Hong Kong holding company. The ship can hold 9,000 people and will receive a new name before hitting the sea in 2025. (WMFE)

  • The Orlando area’s private sector employment was up 5.2 percent over the year in October 2022, leading the states job gains in two major industries: leisure and hospitality (28,200 jobs), and manufacturing (6,000 jobs), according to The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. (Florida DEO)
  • Some residents in Lake Eola Heights in Orlando are still waiting for debris removal from Hurricane Ian. Officials say they are working on it. (Spectrum News 13)
