1. Krispy Kreme is offering more freebies to vaccinated customers from August 30th to September 5th. Customers can now enjoy 2 free donuts with proof of vaccination after big success in the initial run of its promotion. (Click Orlando)

2. Orlando's Renaissance Theatre Company is opening a new HQ in Ivanhoe Village this October. There will be a fundraiser event from September 10th to September 11th with performances and an exclusive tour of the facility. The first big show will be Nosferatu, an "immersive horror experience."(Orlando Weekly)

3. Florida has yet to sign up a new summer food assistance program offered by the Biden Administration and could be missing out on $820 million in aid, including available retroactive pay for families. Families would receive $6.82 for a child’s meal, for a total of about $375 per kid. Currently there is no indication Florida will participate. (WMFE)

4. Orange County Sheriff John Mina is encouraging other law enforcement members to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Deputy First Class Craig Seijos passed away from complications related to COVID-19 earlier this month. 240 law enforcement officers across America passed away from COVID-19 in 2020 (Fox 35 Orlando)

5. West Side Crematory in Winter Garden says there is an influx of dead bodies like never before and worse than the first wave of COVID-19. Many funeral homes are too busy to answer the phone or comment to local news. The area where bodies are stored prior to being cremated is "stacked to the ceiling." (WESH)
