1. New York-based micro-mobility company, Helbiz, has launched e-bikes in Orlando. Riders can unlock the e-bikes for a $1 fee and $0.39 a minute. Free helmets are available for riders around small businesses. (Bungalower)

2. The My Disney Experience app is adding a new feature to help guests find their vehicles after a long day at Walt Disney World. The complimentary feature will use location technology to save parking details. (Spectrum News 13)

3. A University of Central Florida economist, Sean Snaith, says the country is on the brink of a recession. The professor is calling it a "pasta bowl recession" since it will be short-lived and only last about a year, according to the report. (WESH)

4. Two deputies assigned to the investigation of 19-year-old Miya Marcano's disappearance before her death last year were found to have violated department policies, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. One of the deputies has been suspended after they failed to report important details to their supervisor. (Click Orlando)

5. Volusia County deputies arrested two 12-year-old boys on Monday who were allegedly playing with and shooting a handgun in what appeared to be a vacant field. They were reported to police after pointing a gun at someone in a vehicle and are facing charges. (Fox 35)

  • Orlando civil rights movement leader Father Nelson Pinder has passed away, according to sources. Pinder became the first full-time priest of color at the Episcopal Church of Saint John the Baptist in Orlando and fought against racial segregation. (WFTV)
  • Today, University of Central Florida police, ProtechDNA and State Farm will work together to give 100 catalytic converter tracking kits to students for free after a string of thefts earlier this year on campus. Everyone else can get a kit for $15. (WFTV)
