1. The family of Miya Marcano, whose body was discovered in a forest, has filed a lawsuit against Arden Villas apartments, alleging that it should have provided a "reasonably safe" environment for tenants and visitors. The family also names D.P. Preiss Company and Armando Manuel Caballero’s estate in the lawsuit. Caballero was a suspect in the case before being discovered dead by suicide. (Spectrum 13 News)

2. Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is set to open four new restaurants. The new restaurants are called Amare, Tangerine, Grounds, and Stir. No opening date has been announced. (Orlando Weekly)
3. Volusia County is considering selling naming rights to beach ramps as well as branded umbrellas as way to generate extra revenue. A prior deal with Coca-Cola landed the county $878,000 as well as a half million dollars in products and advertising. (Fox 35 Orlando)
4. Federal health regulators are expected to authorize the mixing and matching of COVID-19 booster shots this week in an effort to provide flexibility for those seeking to maintain protection against COVID-19. This announcement is expected to roll out with the approval of booster shots for Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines. (Click Orlando)
5. Republican State Senator Keith Perry has filed a bill that would allow some inmates to reduce their time in prison through rehabilitation. They would still need to serve 75% of their sentence. It is not the first time Perry has pursued the bill. (WMFE)
