2. A person of interest in the case of missing 19-year-old Florida woman, Miya Marcano, has been found dead. 27-year-old Armando Manuel Caballero was found dead from an apparent suicide. Orange County Sheriff John Mina said Caballero displayed a romantic interest in Marcano and was rebuffed. The search continues for Marcano. (WSVN)
3. The minimum wage will rise to $10 an hour from $8.65 an hour on Thursday, the first of six increases that will eventually raise it to $15 an hour in 2026. The effort to raise the minimum wage was led by Orlando trial attorney John Morgan. (Click Orlando)
4. Orlando Magic player Jonathan Isaac is facing a challenging year and strict testing standards from the NBA as one of the only unvaccinated players on the basketball team. Isaac has stated he is not anti-vaccine, but needs to do more research and that he has already contracted COVID-19. (Orlando Sentinel)
5. Russ Rollins, host of “The Monsters in the Morning,” has been hospitalized due to complications from COVID-19, according to a statement from 104.1 WTKS-FM. Rollins has been an advocate for vaccinations and wearing masks and is vaccinated himself. (Bungalower)
