Garry Tyron Hicks
Age 80 of Channahon, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Ramsey, IL, the son of the late Gerald and Marjorie (Weller) Hicks. He has been residing in Channahon for the last 46 years. He retired from Argonne National Laboratory in 2000 following 41 years of service.

Garry was a member of Will County Emergency Services and Joliet Amateur Radio Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy M. (Wrona) Hicks of Channahon; 2 daughters, Kim Hicks (Timothy) Smith of Orlando, FL. And Kris (Eric) Sukley of Channahon; Grandchildren, Ashley (fiancé Kenny Cisson) Sukley of Channahon, Jordan Smith of Orlando, FL., and Justin Sukley of Channahon; dear friend, Jim Turba of Minooka.
