1. The owners of Stasio's Italian Deli are opening a pizza frita restaurant in Orlando's Milk District. It is expected to open sometime in early 2022. (Orlando Weekly)

2. The new Florida Surgeon General appointed by Governor DeSantis, Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, has passed a new rule that says students exposed to COVID can still go to school if asymptomatic and no COVID-19 test is needed for exposure to the virus. The rule has taken immediate effect. (WFLA)

3. An arrest has been made in a 2013 hit-and-run that killed Disney intern Mahmoud Arabi. Arabi's mother said she is still waiting for justice for her son and the accused driver, Jose Ruiz, faces at least 4 years in prison if convicted. (WFTV)

4. Orange County Public Schools leaders are planning to change public comment rules after a summer filled with heated meetings over COVID-19. It will reduce speaking time when there is a large amount of people waiting to speak and give priority to students and parents of children in the district. (WESH)

5. A new scene based on Disney-Pixar’s “Coco” will debut at Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Disney World's Magic Kingdom on November 12th. The new scene comes as Walt Disney World celebrates its 50th anniversary. (Spectrum News 13)
