1. A pedestrian died after directly colliding with a Kissimmee train on Sunday, troopers said. The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. in Osceola County, according to police. A report says the deceased victim was lying down on the train tracks before the collision. (WFTV)

2. There are three candidates attempting to unseat Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings. Demings can avoid a run-off election in November if he gets the majority of the votes in the primary. One candidate, Kelly Semrad, opposes the mayor's proposed transportation tax. (Click Orlando)

3. Orlando police responded to Universal Orlando's CityWalk on Saturday night following reports of a fight among "several juveniles," and evacuated the area out of an abundance of caution. No shots were fired nor were injuries reported, according to police. (Fox 35)

4. Orlando civil rights leader Rev. Nelson Pinder was laid to rest on Saturday. Pinder arrived in Orlando in 1959 and began organizing peaceful protests aimed at ending segregation. His photo hangs on the Civil Rights Wall of Fame at Orlando City Hall. (Click Orlando)

5. Longwood Mayor Matt Morgan spoke out as a community memorial grows for a 3-year-old girl allegedly stabbed to death by her father. "As parents, you're supposed to protect your children," he said. (WESH)
