1. Orlando entrepreneur Craig Mateer wants to transform Orlando's historic Church Street Station into a shopping, dining and drinking space. The city's Historic Preservation Board is not on board at the moment with the idea. (Fox 35)
2. A landlord in Conway is attempting to rent a shipping container shed for $900 a month. The pricing comes amid an affordable housing crisis that is gripping Florida. The landlord is also requiring a background check, employment check and a one-month deposit. (Orlando Weekly)
3. Deputies in Sumter County are investigating after a man was found dead inside a bar early Saturday morning. The incident happened at The Damn Pub at 4666 CR 300 Lake Panasoffkee at around 12:20 a.m. (WFTV)
4. Florida on Friday reported 149,407 cases of COVID-19 over the past two weeks as U.S President Joe Biden faces a COVID-19 relapse after canceling his trip to Orlando and isolating. Florida has seen 6,789,498 cases since the virus was first detected on March 1, 2020. (Click Orlando, Politico)
5. A Central Florida construction worker suffered a major fall on Friday and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. The worker fell approximately 15 feet from a scaffolding structure and landed on the second floor, according to fire officials. (WESH)
