1. Travel woes: Thousands of Southwest Airlines passengers were stranded across the nation due to a disruption this past weekend. FOX 35 obtained a copy of a lawsuit filed by the Southwest Pilot’s Association on Friday in a U.S. District Court. The pilots are filing a motion to stop the airline from enforcing a vaccine mandate. 2. Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando has received a record number of donations after a fire damaged its shelter and left some animals dead. Over $1 million has been donated so far from over 13,000 people. (Bungalower)
3. The Osceola Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting in Kissimmee at Red Star Restaurant and Hookah Bar that left one person dead and another injured. A woman died from a gunshot wound, while a man was shot in the leg and is expected to survive. (WFTV)
4. Orange County is no longer offering vaccine shots at Camping World Stadium. The vaccine site has moved back to Barnett Park. The change comes as Florida is seeing improvement in COVID-19 cases as the Delta variant declines. (Click Orlando)
5. Thousands of people celebrated at the Orlando ‘Come Out with Pride’ parade this past Saturday. The event was virtual last year due to COVID-19. The parade route was longer than in previous years as more people were able to celebrate. (Fox 35 Orlando)
