1. Japanese waffle-maker Wafu is opening at East End Market, replacing Dochi on the second floor of the popular food hall. The stand will offer taiyaki ice cream cones and taiyaki waffles, a Japanese fish-shaped cake usually filled with a sweet or savory ingredient. (Bungalower)

2. Police say a man was shot and killed by police in Winter Park Saturday night at a wedding on Morse Boulevard. A release from police says the suspect "physically attacked" officers as well as wedding guests. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the officer involved shooting and the officer has been placed on administrative leave. (WESH)

3. Lake County Schools recently announced a community partnership to address ongoing labor shortages and provide graduating seniors with career opportunities. Officials say a series of job fairs are in the works for students in April, but interested students and employers can register now. (WFTV)

4. The City of Apopka's Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Spring Break Camp at Camp Wewa for children ages 5 to 10 years old, in grades K-5, who need care during the vacation. There will be "opportunities for experiencing adventure activities, arts and crafts, athletics, boating, target sports and more." Online registration will be ongoing until all spaces have been filled. (The Apopka Voice)

5. A new vegan restaurant concept featuring "100% plant-based" burgers and shakes called Plantees is coming to Mills 50 at the old "Dirty Laundry" space next to Will's Pub. The concept has a spring 2022 opening date planned. (Orlando Weekly)
