  2. State Attorney William Gladson has announced criminal charges against Susan Lorincz in the death of Ajike Owens. Lorincz is being charged with one count of manslaughter with a firearm despite calls for murder charges. State Attorney Gladson cites "insufficient evidence" for the decision to seek lower charges in the incident. Lorincz reportedly said several racial slurs before shooting her neighbor who was knocking on her door. (WESH, CNN)
  3. SeaWorld Orlando is hosting a summer concert series at the theme park. Music artists performing at the theme park include Don Felder, Little River Band, Skillet, Jesse McCartney and more. The series runs from July 8 to Aug. 6. (Orlando Weekly)
  4. The Central Florida couple suing OceanGate Expedition CEO Richard Stockton Rush has decided to drop the lawsuit. The couple paid over $200,000 for an expedition that never happened to see the Titanic and was never refunded. The couple said "honor, respect and dignity" are more important than money. (Fox 35)
  5. The Orlando Utility Commission (OUC) is celebrating 100 years of power and water service this week at Orlando City Hall. The Orlando Utility Commission was founded on June 25, 1923. It was first proposed by Judge John M. Cheney, owner of Orlando Water and Light Company. (Bungalower)
