1. Hawaiian Airlines is suspending its service between Orlando and Honolulu less than two years after launching non-stop flights at Orlando International Airport. The airline said its last flight out of Orlando International Airport is scheduled for September 7 and its final arriving flight will be the following day, September 8. (Fox 35)
2. A man and a woman were hospitalized on Sunday morning after being attacked by a dog in Oak Ridge, according to Orange County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff’s office said a deputy was forced to shoot and kill the dog to stop the attack. (Click Orlando)
3. A program honoring new U.S. citizens has returned to Apopka after a pandemic hiatus. Hope CommUnity Center in Apopka held a ceremony with hundreds of participants in the Pathway to Citizenship program just after Independence Day. (WESH)
4. Simone Johnson, the daughter of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, made her first speaking appearance in front of fans during NXT's event Saturday night at Engelwood Neighborhood Center in Orlando. (Subscription: Orlando Sentinel)
5. Osceola School District still needs 140 more bus attendants and at least 35 more bus drivers ahead of the new school year. Pay will start at $15 an hour for attendants and $16.50 an hour for drivers. (WFTV)
