1. A proposal to make school board elections partisan has received a Senate sponsor from Florida Senator Joe Gruters, chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. If approved, the proposal would appear as a constitutional amendment on the 2022 ballot for voters. This proposal comes as school board meetings have become increasingly heated over mask mandates. 2. Hundreds gathered Saturday in downtown Orlando on Orange Avenue to celebrate Puerto Ricans and their culture in the 5th annual Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival. City and local government officials, many of Puerto Rican descent, joined the festivities. (WFTV)

3. SpaceX’s Inspiration4 crew, the first all-civilian mission to space, returned to Earth at Florida's space coast Saturday evening. They were the first space travelers to end their flight in the Atlantic since Apollo 9 in 1969. (Click Orlando)

4. The FIFA World Cup is looking for a host city in 2026 and Orlando could be a top choice. 17 cities, including Orlando, are currently under consideration. It would bring $800 million worth of economic impact to the Central Florida area. (Fox 35 Orlando)

5. Deputies say a man accused of trespassing was giving a tour at Disney's Hollywood Studios with a stolen company iPad. They went on to say a Disney investigation manager discovered unauthorized overrides on reservations in a Walt Disney World application that allowed the accused to skip lines in the theme park.
