1. Seminole and Orange counties have extended the deadline for virtual school enrollment to Friday, August 6th as COVID-19 cases climb in Central Florida. (WESH)

2. The first 50 people who get the COVID-19 vaccine at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market on August 7th will get a $10 grocery coupon. The one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered. (Click Orlando)

3. Target employees will now be required to wear masks in high-risk areas starting today. The retailer will also “strongly recommend face coverings for all guests in areas with a substantial or high risk of transmission, as defined by the CDC.” Other retailers have recently also mandated the same thing as the Delta variant spreads. 4. Tabla Indian Restaurant is planning to open two new locations in Lake Nona. They are also looking at Winter Garden, Oviedo, and Celebration for potential future locations. (Orlando Weekly)

5. Spirit Airlines experienced a major disruption in flights on Sunday night that spilled into Monday, stranding travelers at Orlando International Airport. Over 200 flights were impacted. The airline industry continues to grapple with surging demand and weather disruptions. (Click Orlando)
