1. Tropical Storm Fred is expected to impact Florida starting Friday. It is the 6th named storm this hurricane season. (Miami Patch)

2. The Evans High Trojans were not able to practice enough due to several players on the team testing positive for COVID-19 ahead of the start of the school year causing an postponement for Friday's game. (WMFE)

3. Community members called Brevard doctors liars and yelled "fake news" as the school board discussed a mask mandate. Doctors said their hospitals are busier now than they’ve ever been during the pandemic. (Click Orlando)

4. An Orange County official says there's been a 460% jump in employees out sick with COVID-19. Mayor Jerry Demings says the amount of sick workers highlights the need for the vaccine mandate imposed on county workers on July 28th. (WESH)
