1. Universal Studios Florida has opened a new quiet room for guests with autism. The room is located in the front of the park next to the Studio Audience Center, the company said. For children on the autism spectrum, these rooms can offer a calming effect that reduces anxiety and improves focus. (Patch Orlando)
2. A woman drowned at 187 S The Beach Ormond Beach in Volusia County on Monday in an unguarded area. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. No further information is available at this time. (WESH)
3. SeaWorld Orlando is in the process of reopening its iconic observation attraction, the Sky Tower. It is currently in a soft opening phase. The tower has been closed since March 2020 when the parks were forced to close due to the coronavirus pandemic. (Click Orlando)
4. Two people were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at a home in Orange County on Tuesday. Orange County Fire Rescue posted video and photos on social media of the massive flames shooting from the house in Oakland. No more details have been released at this time. (Fox 35 Orlando)
5. Sharon Hagle, CEO of SpaceKids Global, and her husband Marc Hagle, president and CEO of Tricor International, will take part in a 11-minute space flight that launches the crew 62 miles above Earth. They will join Comedian and Kim Kardashian-tied Pete Davidson. (WFTV)
