Multiple Universal Studios Rides Closed After Technical Difficulties
A large portion of the Orlando theme park shut down Thursday, prompting complaints on social media.
ORLANDO, FL — Several rides at Universal Studios in Florida shut down Thursday as the park experienced "technical difficulties," according to officials and reports.
In response to a complaint on social media, Universal Park officials confirmed the issues and said crews were working to restore rides "as soon as possible."

The following rides were closed over various times Thursday, according to a WKMG report:
- Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
- Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon
- E.T. Adventure
- Transformers: The Ride 3D
- Villain Con Minion Blast
- The Simpson Ride
- Fast & Furious Supercharged
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
As of 3 p.m. Thursday, only Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon remained closed, according to the Universal Studios Orlando app.
