1. Orange County Sheriff John Mina is taking his message encouraging vaccines for law enforcement nationally after deaths rose from COVID-19 in the latest Delta surge in Florida. He appeared on "CBS This Morning" to discuss the recent loss of a fellow officer. (Click Orlando)

2. The DeBary Diner restaurant owner, Angie Ugarte, in Volusia County says she doesn't want business from Biden supporters over Afghanistan and is planning to leave the sign up. The owner posted a sign on her door that said, "If you voted for and continue to support and stand behind the worthless, inept and corrupt administration currently inhabiting the White House that is complicit in the death of our servicemen and women in Afghanistan, please take your business elsewhere." 3. Osceola County decided to keep masks optional for students despite rising cases. More than 900 students have tested positive for COVID-19 less than a month into the new Osceola County school year. The district is struggling to contact students who need to quarantine. (WFTV)
4. Winter Park has has issued a Request for Proposals to find property where it can move its downtown post office. It is part of the plan to expand Central Park in the area. (Bungalower)
5. Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith of Orlando has sued the Florida Department of Health and Surgeon General Dr. Scott Rivkees, citing the agency’s refusal to release previously public COVID-19 information as cases hit record highs in Florida.
