1. A Marion County judge denied both motions to dismiss a case involving two suspended Sumter County commissioners on Friday. Sumter County Commissioners Oren Miller and Gary Search were suspended by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis when perjury charges came forward. (Spectrum News 13)

2. The Orlando Free Fall is shut down indefinitely as state inspectors from the Florida Department of Agriculture begin their investigation into how a teen fell from the ride and plummeted to his death Thursday night. "Based on all of our preliminary investigation information, it appears to be a terrible tragedy, but our investigation is still open," Orange County Sheriff John Mina said. (Click Orlando)

3. The building where Orlando Brewing has made and served beer locally for 16 years is being sold to Orlando Health on July 5 to support the nearby hospital's campus south of downtown, putting the brewery in a tight spot. The brewery needs the public's help to move its equipment across town and set up a new space, so it has launched a GoFundMe aiming to raise $200,000. So far they have raised less than $12,000. 4. Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Friday human remains found on Wednesday have been positively identified as belonging to Julie Noppinger. Deputies said there is no indication of foul play, and that the cause and manner of death are pending a toxicology report. (WFTV)

5. City of Winter Park will host its annual Spring Cleanup in May this year, to help residents discard large items that they no longer need. The annual event provides an extra “bonus” day of pickup for old furniture, broken appliances, and other bulky items. (Bungalower)
