1. A 29-year-old man, Corey Johnson of Ocala, was arrested Friday when he attempted to enter Patrick Space Force Base with a stolen truck so he could provide a warning to the government, according to court documents. Johnson told authorities that President Joe Biden told him "in his head" to steal the truck and to tell the government there were "US aliens fighting Chinese dragons," according to the affidavit. 2. Daytona Beach lifeguards released new video on Thursday of a crash that injured five people over the weekend. Christian Rivera-Rosado, 28, the driver of the vehicle, has been cited with careless driving. (WFTV)
3. The Volusia County Marine Mammal Stranding team is working to rescue an injured manatee and bring it to care. The manatee was likely injured by a boat in Mosquito Lagoon. (WESH)
4. A woman is dead after being hit by a car while riding a scooter on Thursday in the Orlando metro. The incident happened at the intersection of S. Hiawassee Road and Metrowest Blvd., according to Orlando police. An investigation is underway. (Fox 35)
5. Orlando is hosting The Red Bull BC One Cypher USA finals dance competition from August 20 to August 22. It is the City Beautiful's first time hosting since 2015. The winner will represent the U.S. in the Last Chance Cypher at the Red Bull BC One World Final. (Click Orlando)
