See the photos (heraldtribune.com) — Sarasota County is weighing whether to replace Osprey’s historic Blackburn Point Swing Bridge, which connects the mainland to Casey Key and has outlived its expected lifespan. Engineers are studying options, and a public hearing on the bridge’s fate is planned for late 2026, giving residents time to learn about potential designs and impacts on traffic and boating.
