Officials quickly confirmed there was no threat, lifted the lockdown, and the principal later urged parents to remind students that joking about weapons on campus can trigger serious safety protocols. 
• Final Super 16 Coaches Football Poll: Lake Mary Miracle puts Rams No. 1 (orlandosentinel.com) — Oviedo High’s football team finished 13th in the Orlando Sentinel’s final Super 16 Coaches Poll after an 8-3 season that ended in a close 6A playoff loss to Buchholz. Oviedo coach Greg Odierno also served on the voting panel, which ranked Lake Mary No. 1 after its dramatic state championship win.
