1. Nonprofits, governments, and civic groups are eligible, with winners joining a countywide network of health leaders working to reduce heart disease and stroke.

2. FAA's Trump-Related Banned Route Is Now Under Review Following Backlash In Palm Beach County (thetravel.com) — Residents near Palm Beach International Airport are dealing with louder, more frequent flights after a year-round FAA ban on routes over Mar-a-Lago pushed traffic over West Palm Beach and the Town of Palm Beach. County commissioners have narrowly voted to begin a legal challenge, arguing the security-driven restrictions unfairly disrupt neighborhoods even when the president isn’t in town, with court action likely if no compromise is reached.

3. Free & paid holiday light displays in cities and towns across Palm Beach (miamionthecheap.com) — Palm Beach County families can choose from both paid and free holiday light displays this season, from Mounts Botanical Garden and Zoo Lights in West Palm Beach to stroll-by favorites on Hibiscus and Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. The guide highlights neighborhood routes, major attractions, and safety reminders so you can plan festive evening drives and walks close to home.

4. One Night, 2.3 Million Raised for 26 Local Charities at Kolter-KAST Havana Nights Event (communitynewspapers.com) — Palm Beach–area nonprofits just received a major boost, with Kolter Group and KAST Construction’s Havana Nights gala raising $2.3 million in one evening for 26 South Florida charities, including Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches, and Palm Beach County Food Bank. Organizers say the biennial event has now generated more than $8.1 million to support children and families in need.

5. Every Real Housewife Who Went to Jail: Wendy Osefo, Jen Shah and More (timesnewsnetworks.com) — Palm Beach figures into the legal troubles of several Real Housewives stars, including arrests of Tinsley Mortimer and Luann de Lesseps there on trespassing and related charges. The roundup tracks how various franchise personalities, from Teresa Giudice to Jen Shah, have faced jail time or probation for fraud, DUIs, protests, and other high-profile incidents across the country.
