2 Stabbed During Marijuana Buy In Oldsmar

Pinellas County sheriff's detectives have arrested a man and three teens for a drug deal gone bad in Oldsmar last month.

OLDSMAR, FL — Pinellas County sheriff's detectives have arrested a man and three teens for a drug deal gone bad in Oldsmar last month.

On June 14, around 10 p.m., deputies were flagged down near U.S. 19 and Tampa Road by a 15-year-old teen who stated his two friends were stabbed and needed assistance.

Deputies found the two friends, another 15-year-old and 20-year-old Julian Moore of Clearwater, with stab wounds. They were taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening.

During the initial investigation, a 16-year-old called 911 and reported that he met up with three people he met through Snapchat in the parking lot at 3675 Tampa Road in Oldsmar to sell them some marijuana. During the drug transaction, he said the man and two teens assaulted him and stole a handgun and the marijuana from his backpack.

The 16-year-old said one of the teens dropped the gun on the ground and began fighting with him, so he pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the teens and Moore.

Moore then picked up the gun from the ground and fled in a car with the two teens who had accompanied him, according to the sheriff's office.

Moore was charged with robbery, grand theft of a firearm and three counts of child abuse. The two teens with him were charged with robbery. And the 16-year-old was charged with carrying a concealed firearm.
