Car Crashes Into Restaurant
A Palm Harbor man was one of two people injured when a car crashed into a restaurant in Dunedin Tuesday.
A Palm Harbor man was injured when a woman accidentally drove her car through the front window of the China Star restaurant in Dunedin Tuesday afternoon.
Phyllis Glynn, 80, of Dunedin mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Ivan Amnay, 62, of Palm Harbor and Robert Nandram, 64, of Dunedin, were taken to Mease Dunedin Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after being grazed by a flying plant. The men were eating at a table when the car crashed through the window.

Glynn was also taken to Mease Dunedin Hospital as a precaution. Investigators say she was shaken.
The China Star is on Patricia Avenue just south of Main Street.

The restaurant had recently opened and sustained significant structural damage, investigators reported.
