• Bill reemerges to allow cardrooms without live racing at Tampa Bay Downs (wusf.org) — Palm Harbor state Rep. Adam Anderson is again pushing a bill that could let Tampa Bay Downs keep its cardroom without running live horse races. The proposal, filed for the 2026 session, would “decouple” racing from gambling at Florida’s two thoroughbred tracks, drawing support from the tracks but strong opposition from horse-breeding interests.
