Carwise Middle Wins For Food Drive

The students planned and partnered with community organizations to feed the needy.

Carwise Middle School has been chosen as one of 11 national winners of the inaugural Lead2Feed World Hunger Leadership Challenge.

The school recently held a for the needy as part of the Lead2Feed World Hunger program.

More than 300,000 middle and high school students in 1,500 schools participated in the nationwide Lead2Feed program.

The students of Carwise Middle School sent data to morning show anchors and raised 192 percent of their goal, impacting over 1,000 families.

As a winner, students at the school will win $5,000 for their hunger project charity - F.E.A.S.T Food Pantry in Palm Harbor.
