Fun Things on Saturday
The Play for Primates Golf Tournament is 18 holes of golf to help raise money to build a medical building and education center at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary. Registration costs $75 and includes a cart, raffle ticket, free food and drink on the course and dinner by Carrabba's. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Crescent Oaks Country Club.

The Nautical Flea Market will have plenty available for the marine-minded shoppers. In addition to the shopping, there will also be entertainment and prizes for those who come. The event goes on Saturday and Sunday, 9 .a.m to 6 p.m.

Enjoy an "Italian Bistro Dinner" while helping out one of the community's most valuable resources, Palm Harbor Fire Rescue. $12 will get you spaghetti and meatballs, sauteed vegetables, a salad and dessert.

The Great Garden-to-Beer Trolley Tour 2013 will take you for a special ride on the Jolley Trolley to find out about locally grown and produced items. The 3-hour trolley tour starts in Dunedin and goes to Palm Harbor. Finish the day off with a discussion of beer making while sipping ice tea or beer made with garden herbs and local honey. The stops include: Dunedin Community Garden (Eagle Scout Park) - Find various community garden models and learn learn about local farmers markets; J J Gandy's - Gain a better understanding of the logistics of extreme demand swings and getting pies to the local consumer; Jensen Bros. Seafood - Find out how storms and global pressures impact the availability of food harvested from our Gulf. Know what questions to ask when looking for fresh, local seafood; and 7venth Sun Brewing w/Bee Branch Creek Apiaries - Learn about apiary products and seasonal cycles for Florida apiaries. Find out how Dunedin's newest microbrewery got started and sells to the local market. Tickets are $20.
