Palm Harbor Foundation Proposes New Tampa Museum, Restaurant
The Two Roses Foundation, led by an art collector, has submitted a $31 million proposal to build a museum and waterfront restaurant near Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

A Palm Harbor foundation is proposing a new museum and waterfront restaurant for downtown Tampa, Bay News 9 reports.
The Two Roses Foundation, led by art collector Rudy Ciccarello, submitted a proposal to pay for the $31 million project next to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, the news station reports.
"The museum would house collections of Arts & Crafts movement in America, including fine arts, furniture, metalware, pottery, and woodblock prints," according to Bay News 9's story.

The Two Red Roses Foundation is a nonprofit "dedicated to the acquisition, restoration, and public exhibition of important examples of furniture, pottery and tiles, lighting, textiles, and fine arts from the American Arts & Crafts movement," according to the institution's website.
Construction could begin in mid-2013 if a deal can be reached. The discussions are ongoing.
