Pinellas County Walmarts Unveil Newly Remodeled Supercenters

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Residents across Pinellas County will soon get a first look at two newly remodeled Walmart Supercenters.

The remodels, located in Pinellas Park at 8001 U.S. 19 N and Palm Harbor at 35404 U.S. 19, include several department transformations and the expansion of store navigational tools that will help customers save time.

“Our customers will immediately notice a difference when they enter the store,” said manager at the Pinellas Park Walmart, Josh Powell. “It has a fresh and modern feel with wider aisles and new signs to help shoppers find things easier. The store may look a little different, but our associates are still here to provide great customer service.”

Customers will find:

• New signage, fixtures, LED lighting and flooring throughout the entire store for better line of sight and easier navigation
• Refreshed interior and exterior, including paint and signage
• Modern, remodeled bathrooms
• Refreshed mother’s room for a clean, comfortable and private option for nursing mothers
• New Grab N Go coolers in the front of the store
• Increased numbers of self-checkout lanes and manned registers for customer convenience
• Wider grocery aisles

Shopping options available to customers include:

• Walmart’s pickup option gives customers the convenience of shopping online and the ease of quickly picking up groceries without leaving their cars, and there is no fee to use Walmart grocery pickup. Customers using SNAP also have the option to use pickup services in most states.

• Walmart’s convenient delivery service has now made both pickup and delivery contact free.

• Customers now have the option to have their deliveries made in under two hours.

• Walmart Pay is a touch-free way to pay.
