The traffic signal at U.S. 19 and Enterprise Road will come down on Wednesday, May 8, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. A concrete barrier will be installed in the median, after the signal comes down Wednesday evening. What does that mean for drivers? <ul> <li>Left turns from Enterprise Road on to U.S. 19 will no longer be allowed.</li> <li>Drivers will not be able to cross over U.S. 19 at Enterprise Road.</li> </ul> Instead, traffic heading west on Enterprise will have to take a different route to go south on U.S. 19. First, drivers will need to turn right and drive north on U.S. 19 to Countryside Boulevard, where they will make a U-turn under U.S. 19 to rejoin southbound U.S. 19.   The $17.2 million construction on U.S. 19 to transform it to a limit-access highway between Sunset Point Road and Countryside Boulevard began in July 2012.
