- Bay County voters can cast their ballot for municipal elections from now until Apr. 14 ahead of election day, with more options as to where to vote. Bay County Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen reminded voters that his office attached to the Bay County Government Center is not a location for early voting. Election night will be on Apr. 18. - Three individuals have been arrested by the Bay County Sheriff's Office in relation to a home invasion on Moylan Road in Panama City Beach. Viridiana Zambrano, a friend of the resident, allegedly convinced the resident to leave the house and left the children alone before two armed men entered the home. All three suspects are from Birmingham, Alabama, and more charges are expected as the investigation continues. (WJHG)
- The Calvary of Panama City recently hosted a 5K color run to support the Pregnancy Resource Center in Bay County. About 240 runners participated in the event on Saturday, Apr. 8, and all the proceeds are going to the Pregnancy Resource Center, which provides resources and information to pregnant women in need. The center's executive director, Patty Adams, said the event helped raise $2,000 and will keep the center's doors open for another year. (WMBB - mypanhandle.com)

- The Deane Bozeman School Band is hosting its 6th annual Buck Trot fundraising event on Apr. 15, which includes a 5K race and a Fun Run with registration fees of $25 and $10, respectively. All proceeds from the event will benefit the band program to fund new instruments, music, and other necessary materials. (WMBB - mypanhandle.com)
- Bear Creek Feline Center is seeking donations from the community to help fund a new habitat for their resident bobcat, Wildman, who was hit by a car and is unable to return to the wild. The center hosted a yard sale to raise money for materials and is offering tours to raise funds for the facility, which is also seeking volunteers and interns. (WJHG)
