• Sunshine and smiles as four receive Public Safety Hall of Fame plaques (newsherald.com) — Bay County’s Public Safety Hall of Fame ceremony at Gulf Coast State College honored four longtime first responders for decades of service, including work with Bay Medical EMS and Panama City Beach Fire Rescue. A Panama City police officer delivered the opening prayer as family, friends, and local leaders gathered in Southport to recognize the region’s public safety legacy. 
• Destin man indicted on federal charges (wjhg.com) — Federal prosecutors based in Panama City say a Destin man has been indicted on fraud-related charges and aggravated identity theft, with trial set for January in Pensacola. While the case centers on Okaloosa County, it’s being handled through the Northern District of Florida, which serves Panama City residents and reflects ongoing federal enforcement activity in our region.
