FL Couple Accused Of Falsifying $1M Winning Lottery Ticket: Reports
Media reports say the Walton County couple tried to piece together two lottery tickets to form one winning ticket worth $1 million.
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL — A Florida couple who reportedly attempted to claim a $1 million prize by piecing together two lottery tickets are facing charges of larceny and other crimes.
The couple was identified in reports as Walton County couple Kira Enders, 36, and Dakota Jones, 32.
They are accused of trying to pass off the two tickets as one 500X The Cash scratch-off ticket, Fox 35 Orlando reported.

Enders was accused of attempting to submit the ticket to the Florida Lottery's Pensacola office, CBS News Miami reported.
Both Enders and Jones were charged on suspicion of forgery of/alter lottery ticket with intent to defraud, first-degree larceny grand-theft $100,000 or more and passing forged/present altered state lottery ticket, Escambia County Jail records show. They have both been released on bond, records show.
