1. Vehicle crashes into 12th Avenue pediatric facility (pnj.com) — Community Health Northwest Florida’s pediatric clinic on North 12th Avenue in Pensacola is temporarily closed after a vehicle crashed fully into the building Wednesday, causing substantial damage but no injuries. Some appointments are being moved to the Jackson Street and other locations, and patients with questions are urged to call the clinic for updated arrangements.
   

2. New FHSAA football classifications finalized for Pensacola area teams (pnj.com) — Pensacola-area high school football fans can now see how their teams will be classified for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons, with no local schools changing from the initial FHSAA proposal. Several nearby programs, including Pine Forest, Gulf Breeze, Milton, Navarre, Pace, and Tate, will drop classifications as the state shifts to six classes and adds an open division championship.
   

3. Alice Marie Zackery Jackson (dominionpost.com) — Pensacola readers are informed of the passing of Alice Marie Zackery Jackson, who had been living here with her daughter, Debbie Drake. Remembered as a deeply devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of faith, she leaves family in both Pensacola and Morgantown, with cremation arrangements entrusted to Faith Chapel Funeral Home in Pensacola.
   

4. Naval Aviation Museum pays tribute with new Vietnam POW Exhibit: Return with Honor (wuwf.org) — A new immersive “Return With Honor” exhibit at the National Naval Aviation Museum on NAS Pensacola walks visitors through the harrowing experiences of Vietnam POWs, from capture and torture to homecoming. Featuring recreated cells, personal artifacts, and an interactive AI version of POW Everett Alvarez, it offers Pensacola visitors a powerful way to connect with this history.
   

5. Search continues for 4th suspect in connection to stolen vehicle crash in Escambia County (weartv.com) — Deputies say a group of teens stole a car in Santa Rosa County, drove into Pensacola, and are linked to multiple car burglaries and a firearm stolen there before crashing in Escambia County. With one suspect still at large, both sheriff’s offices are urging residents in and around Pensacola to lock vehicles and remove visible valuables, especially during the holiday season.
