On the evening of 09/26/21, around 6:00pm, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (Alabama)

located a body in a wooded area off of Highway 113.
The body was identified as that of Latonya Antionette Baxter. Baxter was reported missing on
09/12/21. Giles Curt Jones was arrested on 09/15/21 for premeditated first degree murder,
regarding Baxter’s death.
