MIAMi, FL — If your Thanksgiving plans involve driving somewhere around the Miami area, there are 10 "hot spots" that you should avoid if at all possible, according to AAA Auto Club South Florida and Inrix. Experts said the list represents the 10 worst areas for congestion around Miami and they are likely to be even worse over the holidays. Thanksgiving eve and the Sunday after Thanksgiving are expected to be the busiest travel days.
"The busiest times to travel are between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.," Joshua Carrasco of AAA Auto Club South Florida told Patch on Wednesday. "If travelers have flexibility in their schedule, it would be best to travel at alternate times or days to avoid peak travel times."
