“Being a coastal community, we empathize with our neighbors to the south and understand the hardships so many are dealing with right now,” said Bob LaCasse, managing director of TradeWinds Island Resorts. “This new initiative is our way of helping, from our shore to their shore.”
TradeWinds recently added the new Zing Ray Zip, making it the first St. Pete Beach resort with a three-story, dual-line zip line on the beach.

Additional amenities include the Aqua-Bana, a 10-person covered floating cabana complete with a table and a cooler of ice. The resort has also replaced its floating cabanas with a newer king-sized version and has added new components to the popular Floating Water Park, including a new water slide, catapult swing and monkey bar apparatus.
Water’s edge chair and umbrella service are now offered at both properties, giving guests a front-row seat to the gorgeous gulf.
At the Island Grand, the new Bermudas Beachside Cantina is an eclectic Mexican restaurant and bar with gulf-front views.
