Salt Media Group: Inventive Media
Salt Media Group is based out of Indian Shores and offers innovative marketing options.
With advertising, every second counts; especially if the ad is through a multimedia platform. Professionals with integrity are hard to come by in the world of marketing and does not blend well with others.
When I ask him about his new business venture that is tastefully entitled Salt, Jones answers with a straight face, “it’s great on food.”
Jones is a Producer/Director out of Clearwater and after establishing a business on the sands of Indian Shores, he is ready to take on the world. “We started this with the hopes that one day we could make movies and star in them,” explained Jones.
Jones then uses an analogy from Quentin Tarentino’s Desperado to portray his ultimate goal with Salt Media Group. He talked about when Tarentino starred in his own film with a bad joke about peeing across the room into a cup, but it ends up all over a bartender instead.
“That is our ultimate goal,” said Jones. “Not peeing on a bartender- the movie thing.”
From gigs with Jaguar to music videos and even a TV show, Jones is climbing the ladder of success. His latest project includes a Caribbean-based television show that he plans to pitch to the big leagues out west.
Jones works side by side with long-time friend, Luke James. “He does most of our design and animation work,” said Jones. “Mostly he just makes fun of everybody under his breath while he toils away in photoshop.”
The team stays focused when jobs are in progress, a rarity for youngsters like Jones and company.
Salt Media Group is usually hired by ad agencies, product companies and agents. Their main stomping grounds lie in Florida and the Caribbean. Check out Salt Media Group online for more information and work samples.
With big dreams and an even greater sense of ambition, Jones and his team are always looking ahead. “We’re not trying to hop in and hop out of this real quick,” explained Jones. “We’re out for the gusto and we’re gonna keep it real.”
