SEMINOLE, FL — Seminole City Center officially welcomed back Earth Fare with a grand re-opening Saturday at 11201 Park Blvd. N. in Seminole.

Founded in 1975, Earth Fare is a grocery store that specializes in organic and healthy foods.

It previously operated two full-service supermarkets in Pinellas County. The store at Seminole City Center opened in September 2016, while the Oldsmar location at the Woodlands Square Plaza opened in October 2017.

However, the Asheville, North Carolina-based owner of the grocery store filed for bankruptcy and shuttered its Earth Fare stores last year.

Under new investors and leadership, the supermarket has begun to reopen its stores. The Seminole store is the second to reopen in Florida.

The grocery store will feature daily deals Monday through Friday Shoppers can stay up to date through its newsletter and receive a 20 percent off coupon when they select the Seminole store. s

The reopening of Earth Fare comes as owners of Seminole City Center launch an effort to revitalize the shopping center. The center is currently home to LA Fitness, Hand & Stone Spa, American Family Care and Salon West Aveda.
