SEMINOLE, FL — Freedom Square of Seminole welcomed Stephanie Love, a Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 3 Certified Wine Professional and owner of Epicurious One LLC on Wednesday, Jan. 26 to share wines from around the world with residents and perspective residents to kick off the celebration of Freedom Square’s 40th anniversary year.

Featured wines were sourced from France, Italy, South Africa, and a sure favorite was the Mermosa Sparkling Pinot Grigio by Desiree Noisette a local wine maker. Noisette attended the event and shared a brief family history that led to this rule-breaking Pinot that was used by Chef Jacob Bailey to create a tasty vinaigrette for his endive and toasted coconut first course salad.

Guests said that they felt full of delicious food and wine, as well as knowledge, such as how to choose a budget-friendly pseudo champagne. Stephanie hopes to bring more education and perhaps a wine passport to future Freedom Square events.
