Hadassah Florida Sets Walk for Breast Cancer Research on October 30

Miami, FL – October 21, 2022 – In support of October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hadassah Florida has scheduled a series of state-wide “Hadassah Walks for Breast Cancer Research” throughout Florida during the month of October to raise awareness of and funds for the Hadassah Medical Organization’s ground-breaking breast cancer research at its two world-class research hospitals in Jerusalem.

The Hadassah St. Petersburg and Lylah Pinellas Chapters will hold their walk at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Eagle Lake, 1800 Keene Road, Shelter #6, Largo, FL 33771. Adult walkers: $36; Child walker (17 and under) $18; Dogs: $5 Children under five are free. Sponsorships are available. Register at this link.

Join your Hadassah sisters, friends and family walking the dazzling 2.8- mile perimeter of Eagle Lake in Largo, FL, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Walkers will wear pink wristbands designating their sponsorship.

A “Hadassah Moment” will open the Walk by highlighting Hadassah Medical Organization’s breast cancer research work and recognizing local breast cancer survivors and their stories. Exercise instructors will lead off with stretching
