Loder said the sports pub concept rounds out the family's portfolio of eateries that include Crabby Bill's, Bon Appetit, JD's Lounge, Pipo and Betty's Bakery and Jake's Coastal Cantina.
“People enjoy viewing sports with a group and none of our restaurants were sports-oriented," Loder said.
The Guilty Sea Sports Pub is running specials during March Madness basketball games, Tampa Bay Lightning hockey games, paid-per-view boxing and other sports events throughout the year. Click here for a schedule of sports events.
Additionally, the pub will host its first St. Patrick's Day celebration Friday, Saturday and Sunday, featuring corned beef and cabbage, green beer and raffles.
The Guilty Sea Sports Pub will also host the after-party for Rotary Runs the Beach 2023 5K run and 1-mile family fun run on Saturday.
The restaurant offers staple sports pub fare including Buffalo chicken wings, smash burgers, Chicago-style dogs and Polish dogs as well as some unexpected items like Korean barbecue Brussel sprouts with sesame seeds, Korean barbecue sauce, scallions, "Guilty" sauce and roasted panko.
There's also a Loaded Shepherd's Pie with seasoned beef, peas, carrots with brown gravy topped with cheddar mashed potatoes and Texas Twinkies consisting of jalapenos stuffed with a blend of cheeses and brisket, wrapped in bacon, grilled and topped with sweet barbecue sauce.
Inspired by the popularity of burnt brisket ends, the pub offers a brisket burnt ends quesadilla and a burnt ends iceberg wedge with pico, scallions and beer-battered onion rings.
For diners who will be observing Lent on Friday, the pub serves beer-boiled Key West pink shrimp, shrimp corn chowder, wonton tuna tacos, crispy shrimp with wing sauce, the Big Fish Sandwich with beer-battered haddock or blackened fish and the Big Fish Plate with beer-battered haddock, fries and slaw.
