IRB Beach Fest 2016 Takes Place Saturday, April 30

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, FL – Area residents looking for a bit of fun in the sun can hit the beach this weekend for a day full of free events.

The Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association will host the IRB Beach Fest on Saturday, April 30 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Indian Rocks Beach County Park, 1700 Gulf Blvd.

Children’s games, which take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., include a water slide, face painting, sand-castle building and kite flying. Adult games include a volleyball tournament, Corn Hole, water games, paddle boarding and more.

Family-friendly music by The Beach Billies will play from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. When the event becomes more adult-oriented, the music will shift to the Dead Frets, Oceanstone and Smooth D & the Hunks.

Food from local restaurants, beer and wine will be available.
